Just an update to help other people inedify the same prob I had.
6 months or more had prob that even though main tank solenoid were calling for fuel with a full tank the engine was cutting out and had to quickly change back to reserve tank.
From advise on forum checked main tank pick up pipe and sock in tank, solenoid etc. Now running on reserve tank for 6 months to keep me going found time to resolve the issue, it was collapsed fuel tubes from main tank to solenoids.
Now all changed right as rain. Hope it helps someone.
