I have recently had some work done on my engine, when the motor was returned the speedo was working intermittent then failed to work at all. The water temp gauge was also not working.
On inspection the water temp sender had been damaged and there were four wires loose at the rear of the block which looked like they had been ripped off (but like me with the mechanic)
Not a happy bunny with the Mechanic but that’s another issue.....
My problem is sorting these wires so the go to where they are supposed to. They are coloured white/black two brown with a back band and one that is brown - does anyone know where they go? I have studied the Haynes manual but it’s not exactly clear.
It’s a 1hdt engine in a 1993 80 series.
