Hi guys,
To be upfront from the start, I don't have a Landcruiser.  I do have a boat which has, I think, Landcruiser based engines.  I was wondering if someone on here could advise me about the following.
The boat has twin Yanmar 6LPA-DTP engines, fitted new in 2004.   They are 6 cylinder, 12 valve.  I believe these are based on a Toyota Landcruiser engine, possibly the 1HD-T but I can't swear to that.
I am planing to check and adjust the valve clearances and will need some shims.  The Yanmar shims come in 10 sizes and part numbers range from 119770-00520 to 119770-00610 inclusive.  These are very expensive at £17.36 each!  I am guessing that Toyota ones would be a lot cheaper.  Can anyone tell me some Toyota part numbers please?  Kind regards, Norman

I thought Milner 4x4 or Roughtrax would stock the shims, but cannot find them on stock list, so this is the Toyota list, hope that helps.
