Hi Guys.....Can anyone give advice on where to look first ??   I have a 1988 LJ70.  I am experiencing wheel wobble at 50-55 Mph, although not ALL the time...It does seem to occur more often with 3/4 people aboard and much less when i'm solo...I have had new wheel bearings fitted and had all 4 wheels balanced.  Any ideas as to where to check first !!   I live in Bulgaria and it's Minus 20 c outside so i want to spend as little time as possible finding the cause   lol

Are the wheels damaged?

Are the tyres worn unevenly or running out of true?

Have you checked the steering ball joints?

Are you running in 4 wheel drive on a dry road?

Is the slip joint on a propshaft worn out (moves up and down)or any balance weights missing?

Does it steer straight?

Wheel wobble can be caused by lots of wear associated with the suspension or steering. You need to get it on a lift and check out all suspension rubbers etc.
