Hiya Guys,
I Have just brought my first land cruiser its a 1999 4.2 amazon and I absolutley love it! When I brought the car I noticed that the keyless entry and the interior lights where not working. Now Ive had it for a week or so I have started playing and tring to sort little problems, I took a look at the fuse box and noticed that the fuse was missing so i popped one in and low and behold it lit up like a christmas tree... However The liggts will not go off... I Have checked all the switches and they seem to be working as they should... If I open the boot then the boot lights comes on and goes off, and if i open either of the rear doors then the rear puddle lights and boot lights go on and off But the front doors make no difference at all and the puddle lights, dome, and key ring stay on all the time... so my question is if its not the switches what can it be ?? do they have a Body control modual or is it just a relay for the timer on the interior lights??
Also with the fuse in the car will unlock off the keyless entry, but not lock, and the active hight control, flashes off.... So im guesing the car thinks there is a door open but I cant work out why??
looking for helps advice and tips as I love the truck
many thanks and look forward to speaking to u guys soon
