Hi All, I’ve just bought my first Land Cruiser, an LC3, which I’m really pleased with.

So many things to do now, first has been to remove the side steps. I would like thoughts & recommendations on the following though. I did try to post links but cant do that yet...

Tyres - will go one size bigger to 265/70/r17. Want AT’s, mostly motorway miles but with overland capability (over Pyrenees...) looking at Cooper Discoverer AT3 or General Grabber AT2 or AT3. Think BFG’s are too aggressive for my usage.

Tow Bar. Want to install a removable one as only used a few of times a year with a camping trailer, and guess a Toyota plug and play loom is the one to go for.

Underbody protection. Won’t be seriously crawling but would like something more substantial than factory (covering both sump and gearbox). There is ARB from Devon4x4 and ones from sump-guard.co.uk and more4x4.pl - any better than any others...

Front recovery points. Have only seen these available from Australia so far. Are beefed up ones needed or are the factory ones ok?

Thanks

Love the fact that even with mods insurance is cheaper than my old XC70
