Quick question in case anyone knows this. Yes, we have asked the dealer, but they are pretty clueless about Landcruisers so wanted to double check their "just ignore it" advice. Mileage is on 39K and it's booked in for it's 40K service in a couple of weeks. 30K service was done at 30K (at the Toyota dealer) give or take a hundred miles or so. For around the last thousand miles, a message has been flashing up "oil service required" every time it's started.
Car is a UK model 2016 2.8L LC 150. The Toyota dealer says "just ignore it", but as they are the same dealers that have exhibited some pretty poor product knowledge of Landcruisers in the past, I wanted to double check with the brain trust at TLOCUK that the message isn't to do with something else, i.e. some other different oil service that it's complaining about! |

Hi there,
It's just the dashboard reminder for the service, which you've got up coming, so no problems.
Check the level, but otherwise can wait until your service.
The should reset it as part of the service, if they don't you can do yourself, just google it, just a few button pushes. |
