Has anyone got any ideas about where to store the spare wheel - I've forked out on new wheels and don't want it to be eaten by salt, like the old one. I've looked around for a spare rear door, in black, that holds the wheel but they appear to be as common as hens teeth and I don't fancy a roof rack and the subsequent hernia each time I have to lift it up.. currently it's in the boot taking up far to much space.

If you still have the old wheels, and the overall rolling radii of the tyres is within tolerance ( i'm assuming you might have changed wheel/tyre sizes here), then why not put one of the old wheels back underneath as a spare and keep the 5th new wheel in your garage at home.
This solution makes it easier to rotate the tyre on the new spare wheel into the fold as you you rotate the tyres normally, assuming you do rotate that is.
