Hello guys.

New member here I've been traveling abroad the past year most recently in Australia and have fallen in love with the land cruisers particularly 70 series as is pretty common here.

Long story short I have my heart set on looking for the right "project" when I soon arrive home. I have been rigourously scouring all avenues for the ideal candidate but as of yet no avail although I have come close to finding what I need.

I'm looking for an early 90s j78 LC (G or H plate ideally) in good condition body+chassis wise but I'm not fussy about power units or reliability on that front even if it was a non runner as that would fit into the project I have in mind.

I'll be moving out to the county when I get back but will have a little time on my hands to hopefully have the back broken on it by the time winter sets in.

Basically I would like to know am I wasting my time trying to look specifically for those model years (90/91) as in how rare are they, or should I be looking into importing one. I would be reluctant to go the import from Japan route until I have exhausted all other options.

Any advice greatly appreciated guys  Very Happy
