I get water in.
A lot of water in - it drips off the rear view mirror and down making puddles in the trays of the centre console.
I think it’s the sunroof since there are no other holes in the roof and it does not run down the inside of the windscreen so I don’t think it’s the windscreen seal.
I have cleared out and tested the drain holes - it is not them water flows through them so fast it literally gushes out the bottom. They can drain 2l in 10 seconds.
So any ideas? Do sunroofs really get that leaky? I am not buying a new sunroof so I guess I am going to have to seal it with some kind of monster mastic....

I had water dripping on to the instrument binnacle, steering wheel and driver's seat about three years ago. I suspected the sunroof too but when I pulled the headlining down I could see it was coming in at the top of the windscreen. After raking out the old mastic at the top of the screen and replacing it I've had no more water ingress since. If you've checked all four sunroof drains and they are OK I'd suggest dropping the headlining at the front to have a look. _________________ 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Colorado 3.4VX |

Cheers thanks for the info I really don’t think it’s the windscreen but it of course could be - water just finds a way doesn’t it.
It could be a new windscreen - it’s got a crack anyway.
By the way I only found 2 drain holes....both front corners. _________________ LWB 2001 3.0 D-4D Auto VX Colorado |

If it is the sunroof, there'll be plenty of advice about sealing leaky sunroofs on Discovery forums (Disco Is were well known for it). _________________ 1997 KZJ90 3.0d, 2" suspension lift, 235/85/16 Cooper STT Pros. 217k hard miles |
