For my KDJ95R, I have found it has an OBD socket in the footwell.

I want to read the injector feedbacks/volume/injection period etc. to assess the state of the inectors.

What adapater and software do I need to do this? Is there something free that will do it?

What about when it comes to changing and reprogramming the injectors, will I need a paid up techstream install to do that?

I purchased the Autoaid diagnostic tool 180euros, it shows everything apart from the ECU parameters. (injectors etc). Now I use the dash method for anything. (engine light flashes)
Last year I removed my injectors and gave them to Airylee garage in Aberdeen, they sent them down to the OEM (Denso) for overhaul at 120quid each(received back 10 days later). I re-fitted them myself without any re-programming, and my J95 D4D runs like new, no more black smoke, and between 27-32 mpg.
