Auto box.

is there a special way to move the selector into 2 or L   ?

Normally, I just start up in park, foot on brake, and slip into  D.

When I have had other auto's I have been able to slip selector into
R
N
D
3
2
1

However, I can slip into 3, but not into 2 or L

I have tried it at say 10 ~ 30 mph, and I can move the selector to the right, out od D and into 4
I can move from 4 pull back into 3
But can't pull anymore back?

Ideas?

G.

You have to move the lever to the side then back, i think its so you dont go all the way back by accident, when your in 2 move to the left to get L. hope this helps

Ahhh,

Done it.

See, I knew it was a stupid question.

I just have to move over a little bit, then it continues more back.

Thanks

Graham
