in the absence of a 'modifications section' and following on from the couple of comments in my 'snow fun' post, i've included a few pictures of the table i've fitted to the rear door of my colorado.

i removed the existing trim and used it as a template for making a version from plywood to this i attached the table using 3X butt hinges and covered it with a piece of stainless steel. a couple of sliding bolts hold it shut with a hook on the end of a short lenght of bungee fixed under the top piece of trim to stop it from rattling. i used a length of webbing for the stay and its lenght is adjustable so i can alter the angle of the table if parked on a slope.

as you can tell, i'm no joiner Exclamation

Inspired by your efforts and evolving what I made in my Land Rover Discovery, I have made a fold-away table for the rear door of my LJ70...
