What size of steel wheels would you recommend for LC4 set of off road tires (BFG AT)?
Can you advise what to look for when buying steel rims for LC4 (size, manuf, vendor, e bay...)? Thanx.

See today's post . I could not get 17"  rims in steel. Best I could get cheap alloys for was around £50 per corner. Have a look on flea-bay and see if you can get some 120 rims off there. If you are serious about off road of course you don't really want alloy. bash bash bash ooops!

16" rims don't fit. There was a suggestion that you could 'modify' the caliper with an angle grinder. Between you an dme, a touch here and there is not going to hurt. Problem is that once you've ground too much off and the wheel still doesn't fit it's a bit late. If some has 'adjusted' their caliper in this way, I'd like to know how they got on.

Remember that if you use stick on wheel weights you will have to allow for these too

These are almost impossible to buy in the UK. Try one of the dealerships in Germany - genuine Toyota 17" rims.
