I came across this on th US MUD forum, the door lock actuators are driven by a small DC motor, Toyota want an arm and a leg for them $150-300? so they say, the motor fails, they are available on US e bay for $5 USD for 5 plus $10 USD postage to OZ IIRC. Here is the link to read
