Hi Rob
well I really enjoyed the 80 series that this car has replaced
yes I was concerned by the lack of an 8th belt (we used it all the time), I took the belts of my 80 when I sold it
and intend to fit it to the 100. In the 80 the lapbelt was secured (this is the lap belt in the third row of seats) by a bolt at the end of each webbing, which bolted in the seat --- this fixing bolt was easy to access coz the plastic trim covering them had screws in
from my initial look at the 100's rear seats the fixings seem to be the same -- i.e. there, but not so easy to get at
tbh -- i havent had a really good look yet due to the cold and family work commiments, but will let you know as soon as I have a better look -- but on the plus side the fact that the second row has a proper third seatbelt, as apposed to a lapbelt is a real bonus |

just one thing -- are you saying that the 2nd row has shoulder seatbelts instead of the lapbelt as in the 80 |
Yes, or at least mine does.
Takes a few seconds to move between positions on mine and all the doors must be shut. You can be moving when going normal to high and back to normal but with the speed limitation mentioned above. I'm getting an electronic suspension lock from Slee so I can lock it in the high position on the days when I want bigger than 33" tyres on it |
i need one of them, whyere u get it from and how much, |
