Hello Paul,
Thank you for all the high quality photo's.
I looked last night at them, and wanted to make a posting, and today, I see even more !
Looks like all you guy's had a great time, so many different surfaces.
I am particulary interested to know how the 120 series got around the tracks.
And even more surprised that it looked like he was on slick's !
Especially when looking at the serious 'rubber' many of the others were sporting.
Did he need a 'pull out' of anywhere?
Where they the standard Dunlop Grand Trek's ?
Any way, good for him for making it around,
.

Yes still on the factory tyres with not a lot of tread left and centre diff lock not working!!! But he only got "stuck" twice. Once where the ruts got him, the other in the picture you posted, where he went around some ruts and found a "soft" bit. Thet rgar that, twice with the waffle boards and that was it.
I am sure there will be lots more pictures from the others when they get home.

Well, I think he did very well in that case.
No center diff locking, means he cant have rear diff lock either.
And on a set of tyres hamilton would be proud of.
I must say, I do feel a little better now, seeing what the 120 series can do.
So, to be a little 'after the horse has bolted', if he had bigger BFG A/T and center diff locking, and was able to lock rear diff, whould he have bee OK ?

Thats the tyres he is going for. No rear difflock anyway it is fitted with traction control. So yes with better tyres he would have been fine. The white 90 behind his has BFG ATs and was fine all the way around.

Good,
Not the cheapest, but up amongst the top, if not the top.
I had the Dunlops grand Treks, as standard, out the factory, and all I can say about these BFG A/T,
Well, it's like driving a different vehicle completly.
There is so little 'roll' I could even go as far as saying these are quieter than the DGT.
I had no 'trimming' to do, so they will go right on.
.
I had no problem with balancing, .
I am sure he will not look back, and will wonder why he didn't replace the DGT sooner. |

I'm curios about that Mark, were you flexing the suspension and do you have adjustable upper control arms? Those lower shock mounts will only take a cirtain amount of axle rotation before they shear.
Nice to put some faces to the names on here and I hope everyone got back ok. _________________ Jon m0zxj

How was the weather for you on Saturday night?
It was foul down here with the gales and rain, I would have thought you would have had similar. _________________ Cheers,

It was a bit wet and windy both nights but nothing got blown away/over. It can't have been too bad because it didn't wake me up _________________ Jon m0zxj
