If you hunt around you can find imported 80s with locking diffs, but they are very rare.

An alternative would be to go for an ARB diff lock kit upgrade, though not that cheap.

Daveaa,

A cheaper and effective method would be to upgrade your centre diff
to be able to switch in on/off when desired; same site that towpack mentioned... http://www.sleeoffroad.com/technical/tz_cdl_pin7mod.htm
Several of us have made this modification and it works very well.

All Sahara trim level come with (electric) diff locks (thats the top of the line trim level).

Alternatively consider;
1. ARB air operated diff locks (both ends)
2. Detriot or Torsen diff in the back
3. Powermax in the back

Make sure you can lock the centre diff in HI if you are going to fit diff locks.

Some models came with a centre diff lock button, others did not. This permits you to lock the centre diff in HI range. If yours does not have it, buy the appropriate switch from the dealer (it will even hve the crrect marking & backlighting), and plug it in. There are diiferent switches for Pre 95 & post 94 models (but functionally identical). Alternative is to build your own (cheaper but really ugly).

I have fittd the centre diff lock switch as wellas the lockers each end.
