Had my seat repaired this week, it was just starting to split & come apart also sagging so i thought i would get it done, £60 not bad eh

wow that's amazing- did they put a new patch in or something?
who did it?
there's a chappy on ih8mud who can supply full leather re-skinning kits, but with the exchange rate at the moment they are a bit pricey! |

Company in Hemel Hempstead Herts did it, yes it's a new strip of leather & all the padding underneath has been done, the also backed a couple of other places where the leather had started to crack, going to give it the hide care treatment now to soften it up. |

Was it Hukes on Queensway?

See from your other post that it was. Yes they are a really decent old school upholsterers, just down the road from where I used to live.

Nope, just removed the seat & dropped it off to them one lunch time, picked it up next afternoon. |
