About a foot of snow and no problem - despite moderate tyres!

My 80 did quite well in the French Alps on M+S tyres but it couldn't cope if the snow got to about 12".
I think that was more the snow underneath lifting the body and wheels too far up for traction rather than inadequate tyres.

Still, b****y good fun trying though. Laughing

Yeah - really good fun!

I was helping a friend with a peugot 'partner' as he had stuck in the drive to the house. Along comes a czech bloke, stops to offer help, then sees the cruiser :- "ah, Toyota! no problem, zwei hundred kilometer!" (pointing to the forrest track I had just come out of) and roars off in a cloud of smoke. So even out there the cruisers get respect!
