How long ago did you win it? I was bidding on one of these a while ago. |

About 2 months ago. I know someone else who was bidding on it but didn't know untill afterwards, put the price up a bit but it was still reasonable I think. _________________ 1999 Land Cruiser Amazon VX Active 4.2TD Auto

Andy,
Was it easy to fit? I lost out the first time round on that site and was gutted (as the factory winch, bumper and bits was about £3500 plus ). You did very well.
I did find out that the factory winch has only 8500lbs-9000lbs of pulling power. Certainly enough for normal road use. Can you clarify this?
Unfortunately that was not enough for the offroading and expedition work
I do so decided to fit an ARB winch bumper and am currently saving up for a 15000lb WARN winch. Looks odd at the moment so no pics yet.
Be good to see your pictures though.

Yes it's a 3600 KG winch, however with the current setup if I chose to fit a better winch later on it should fit in the current position. The Aisin winch is a big beast and has similar dimensions to the Challenger 10000 winches and a 12000 lb winch with a remote solenoid pack would also fit with a bit of moving around of the mounting holes.
Here are some pictures of the completed installation.
