Hello Everybody,

I will be attending an event on Salisbury Plain on the 30th. Laughing It is being organised by another club, not myself. Shocked
Alyson and I went last time and very much enjoyed ourselves.
We also lead one of the groups and have asked to do the same this
time. Also we had Lunch at the Bustard Inn Laughing and an after dinner
speach by Chris Scott, writer and explorer...Sahara Overland Laughing
Hopefuly there will be more mud and water this time Exclamation Laughing Laughing
Please click on this link for details and to register....

Hi

I've been round Salisbury on a motorbike, but would love it in a car.

I have been telling my mate about it for ages and we have said that we need to go there and enjoy the day out.

He's got a Defender and maybe his brother in law will come up from Brighton too.

Is it OK for these guys to participate as well?

Can't wait now. Will sort the car ready.

Cheers for now

Paul

Hi Paul,

Had a Defender out with us last time so don't see any reason why
they shouldn't go out this time, as far as I'm concerned. Laughing Need
something to practice towing out Exclamation Laughing However, I am
not organising this one so you need to ask the questions and
register via the link. Don't think you will have a problem though. Laughing

Cheers Trevor, I have now registered and hope for a positive response in regards to my mate coming in his Defender. TOW rope at the ready. Laughing

Looking forward to meeting a few of the guys from the site as I am new to the site.

Hope to see you there.

Hi,

Chris Scott won't be doing a talk this time around so more time for chatting or going back out to play after lunch.

So far we have 23 vehicles registered with about 18 of those being Land Cruisers of various sapes and sizes (mainly 70s, 80s and 120s).

It would be good to see some more Land Cruisers out there so if you have any questions, please post here.

We will be split up into groups depending on skills/abilities/type of routes so there should be something for everyone, whether you are looking for severe mud or just want to try it for the first time.

Hi

Just wondering if the final meeting details are available for the Salisbury day?

I have registered for the trip down and meeting two others en-route who have registered.

Looking forward to meeting people on the day.

Cheers for now.

Hi Paul,

Most of the details are on the site where you registered (follow the Itinerary link), but I will be sending out an email later today with further details and confirmations.
