Wheel spokes sheared, car crashed off road, on two occasions 5 years apart. Toyota not interested. Napier university show severe internal corrosion. Ministry of Transport can find no history of similar. Does anyone know of any other cases or crashes that might have been caused by the same fault? PLEASE REPLY!!!! Very Happy

When you say spokes sheared can you enlarge abit on what you mean. I haven;t heard at all of this before and cant believe that it could be due to chassis corrosion so would be interested to know exactly what happened Laughing

all five spokes of the wheel sheared roughly parallel to the circumference of the wheel. The wheel departed leaving the centre still attached to the hub. CRASH! Evil or Very Mad
