hi in the last week noticed that the once faint whistle of my turbo cutting in has become much louder and also noticed a20% loss of power.recently chipped my lc5 3ltr diesel on 03 plate so wonderd if this was causing the problem,contacted toyota today and the guy who sold it to me advised to disconect chip which was easy to do,but problem is still their.your thoughts and advice would be much appreciated.many thanks.

Harvey, give us a bit more detail if you can please and we'll see if we can suggest something. I have an '04 LC5 that's been chipped so we're on the same wavelength!

Could it be a leak? The rubber pipe coming out the intercooler on mine was loose and had some blowby.
The loss could be this or the ECU trying to go into limp mode but chip is stopping it?

its literaly no more than what ive already said,apart from that its intermitent which makes it more noticeable.im off on a 200 mile trip today to me dads an just brought some milners injector cleaner just incase the injectors are cloged.also going to check pipies to turbo again will let you know sunday if any of these cure it.in the mean time would appereciate any other ideas,thanks.
