Well then,,,,
went in to sort out road tax on my LC - which Im getting tomorrow.... ( I know why am I sorting the tax out and not the dealer... long story...) Anywho, when it came to signing some of the paper work ready for the pickup tomorrow I noticed that the MOT came with an advisory in regards to slight oil misting on the rear offside suspension... Is this something to worry about or should this be covered under the 12months warranty one gets from MR T.... I'd hate to take the car on tomorrow and then try to claim the rear suspension on it just to be told its wear and tear....
What do you think.... (other than that they've done a brill job on it - well except for the muppet who refurbed the wheels... he only went and put different treaded tyres on each axle if you get what I mean... surley he should have known to keep the tread pattern the same across the axles.....
Regards

Hi Rob
I would get them to sort that before you pick it up, or at least get in writing that it will be fixed ASAP and not under warranty (as most warranties have a claim limit) so that will reduce Your claims.

A toyota dealer warranty has no limit. Get it sorted to your satisfaction before you collect and get the muppets to sort the tyres too. Tut Tut from them for that. Not good enough. _________________ '04 KDJ120R LC5. Died 17th Dec 2010. RIP. |

Well...
They are going to check into the suspension whilst they rectify the screwed up wheel refurb and put the same treads accross the axles...
Wonder what they'll come back with...
I'll keep you posted
