I just spent 2 days with Julian at Overland Cruisers.

In my opinion he is without doubt one of the most capable and knowledgeable Landcruiser experts out there.

Passionate about his work, good eye for detail and thorough, complete work.  Great to talk to, and a good teacher as he guides you through what to do, what to avoid, and how to keep your truck running perfectly.

Love his workshop.

Refreshingly he does not waste your money replacing things for no good reason, is clear in his thought process about what needs to be done and the most time effective way to get it done,  and makes ecologically sound decisions with regard to what can safely and effectively be re-used, and what cannot.

Julian is a rarity in today's world. He really does care about your truck, and takes time to establish what you are wanting to do to match his advice to help you achieve your outcome.

Highly recommended.

Work completed:
Front axle rebuild - inner axle seals, replaced CV's, wheel bearings, new cryo treated front discs
Diagnosed that annoying whine as faulty bearings on front diff, assisted location and fitting replacement
- Just on the axle rebuild item I cant describe the attention to detail to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. And the difference when I drove off was staggering - the truck feels so different at the front end now, compared to before (and there was me thinking it was good before).

Adjusted valve clearances

New cambelt

Replaced big end bearings

Plus a load of small items that all added up to making a big difference.

I'm going back to have OME suspension fitted when the parts arrive.

Thankfully he is rather forgiving if you happen to ask some patently dumb questions 'Embarassed'

And as a side note - if you want to experience what a cruiser can go like - have a ride in his with the new suspension and that Allisport intercooler. It's wrong that something so big and heavy can go, corner and stop, like that.

We know he is good, and one of the best persons to care for our trucks.
I just wish he would relocate more up to Warrington way he he he .

I have heard many similar good reports, and I would also have no issues about him pulling my LC apart.
Then doing whatever HE thought was best required to sort it.
