Hi can anyone tell me how to remove the whole dash board of the 97 prado? and also can anyone can send me a diagram? my dash rattles a lot that why I want to check if there's any loose screw on it.

They all rattle apparently. It makes the car look and sound really cheap I think.
I saw a fix article on lcool90_aus a few months ago. It might be worth having a shuffle around there for it.

Hi

When I bought my Prado last year the dash board bouncing up and down drove me mad.

I was able to tighten two large nuts behind the speedometer which were quite loose.
There are to more behind the passenger air bag which you should leave well alone.

Start by taking off the two halves of the trim around the steering column (screws are underneath) then the lower dash board trim followed by the upper trim around the Speedo; carefully take out the four screws holding the Speedo head in place and move to one side.

You don’t need to disconnect the Speedo, then you should see the nuts which hold the dashboard to the metal body below the wind screen.

Alternatively you could put up the shake.
