Does anyone know where to get a top mounting bracket for the drivers side front coil spring for a 1988 Landcruiser as it now seems to be a discountinued spare. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Edwin Is your Landcruiser a LJ/RJ70 ? If so the bracket that is welded onto the chassis is part number 48471A.I dont believe it is a deleted part, more likely your dealer cant be bothered stocking them anymore.
Another dealer maybe more helpfull

You could try a 4x4 dismantler but they are sometimes reluctant to cut stuff off a good chassis.

A good metal fabrication shop maybe able to make one that will do the same job.

Is yours rusted or bent?

Thanks for the reply. Mine has rusted trough at the centre and the spring has pushed up through the top. Will check with a couple of other dealers to see what the story is.
