Steve, unless you use a pirate copy Toyota (or Navteq possibly who produce the orginal data) is your only option. Mine for the LC120 was about £150 from memory but it does cover all of Europe for teh DVD based system.

I now have the latest disc in my LC5 and yes it does indeed allow nav changes etc on the move. Couple of irritating things though the disc was expensive about £150.00 stg then to find some errors on previous disc still there and some major local road changes over a year old are not included.Also I run a Hiace and a verso T180 and both these vehicles run the same disc in their Satnav so I really need to buy 3 discs. I wish I could copy my disc for use in all my cars.
