i was up there last month,if im not mistaken thats the bomb hole on the strada florida,  loved it.and looking foward to it again.  wicked pics aswell, i camped down by the river in ryder.  later joe

The 'bomb hole' I take it your talking about the waterfall, yep its pretty special especially when you are driving up with water coming down the way Very Happy

Couldnt beleive how low the water level was having done it a few time now

Be aware i am pretty sure you shouldnt be camping anywhere along strata there are no designated camp sites Wink

Wild camping is illegal in England and Wales, having said that I do it frequently - the worst that can happen is you get moved on Wink

Looks like you had a good time, I did Strata a fortnight ago and was surprised at how dry it was myself, but then it has been a very dry year so far Shocked waiting for the hosepipe bans now lol.

Note what I said about the hose pipe bans, it was in the North West news today that hose pipe bans are to come into force in a fortnight lol.

I keep going back to that pic of the Niva crossing the ford, I think it's a cracking shot. Where is the ford? I don't recognise it..

I think it was Grid ref - SN920 470 just to the east of Llangammarch wells
