I bought mine from Toyota Direct Parts (go here). Paid £177 for the dog-guard, vs the £250+ that Mr T wanted, delivered in 3 days via DHL (included in the price). The handling of the package was atrocious - it arrived ripped open and the 'shrink-wrap' fittings package was also ripped That takes some doing!!
Anyway, the unit seems undamaged, so will be being fitted tomorrow early-ish! The first part of my home-brewed packing system takes shape _________________ I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.

Sorry, guys, the world caught up with me, and had to attend to family stuff!! But I'll get to it asap! But probably not for a while - off to Isle of Skye next weekend, and working all the following, so maybe the last weekend of Feb _________________ I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.

Hi folks,
I've just joined the forum and notice there is interest in dog guards. I bought one from a Toyota dealer to fit into my LC4 when I bought it, but only used it a couple of times. Found didn't really need it and so its been in my garage covered with a blanket. Was going to put on e bay at the weekend for £120 + P&P but if anyone is interested, let me know. I have a couple of pics of it and step by step instructions of how to fit it!
Part number: GBNGA-4G150-02
Model code: KDJ 120
I think it should fit any 5 door Landcruiser (according to the instructions anyway!)
I'm interested in getting some roof bars if anyone knows of any going, and also advice on getting rid of scratches on bodywork.
Cheers |
