Confused hi all
need some help
while the mechanic bro in law was servicing the cruiser he said he could hear something he didn't like! Shocked
long story short , apparently the aircon pump requires a new "clutch cooler" , basically the drive belt pulley bearing thingy is goosed Crying or Very sad
does anyone have any alternatives/options
tried toyota, they want £235+vat for the pulley/bearing
aircon medic £280+vat for a recon pump/compressor
do i just get a brand new toyota pulley and hope the pump holds out, or is it best to go for the recon pump
any advice much appreciated
cheers

The reco compressor would be the better option, although you would want to be sure that it includes the the clutch pulley, becuaser normally they fit your old one to the new compressor.

Another way would be to remove the bearing and see if it can be sourced from SKF or another quality bearing manufacturer.
