I came across a web site describing how to make your own bio-diesel.

http://journeytoforever.org/biodiesel_make.html#start

I am not a great bio-diesel enthusiast and haven't done this myself. However, this web site describes in a lot of detail how to do this, what to use and what to avoid. So it might help you if you are thinking about trying to make your own fuel.

The web site is mainly about setting up green projects and you might find other stuff of interest there.

For anyone new to biodiesel, I've done 30K miles with my 100 series and it's all about quality:   The first 6K miles caused me a blocked filter inside the injector pump... The problem was with my process (Soap removal) and final polish.

I've helped a number of folk through their first mix, advised on the spec for a processor and supply specialist low cost filtration products for final polish (which is where a lot of folk go wrong).

Very willing to assist in any way practical... Just pm me or get my details of www.biofueltek.co.uk
