Hi there, I have an FJ40 that I am about to sell. It is a 1977 and has been completely rebuilt underneath. It has Ford Clevland 351 5.9 v8 in it and runs sweet. It is a gun metal grey colour with new white fibreglass wheelarches. No rust to speak of as I have only had it in the UK for about 2 months and it came from Australia. Many more extras on it. Mail me if intersested. |

Hi, tried to put some pics up, but the site wont let me as I have not had enough posts. I have emailed them to ask to have this changed. I await a reply. If not I will sort out another way of doing it. |

Here is some of the spec. Drive train rebuilt using HJ47 running gear, free wheeling hubs, disc brakes all round, diffs rebuilt, rear ARB diff locker, new OME suspension shockers and steering damper, new leaf springs and bushes all round, power steering from HJ47 totally rebuilt, ford cleveland 351 V8 rebored to 5.9 l, holly carbs, radiator flushed. Engine runs great no smoke e.c.t, produces around 300BHP, goes like a rocket, sounds great with twin exhausts. BFG all terrain tyres with 90% tread, 5 lightweight alloy rims. 11 months roadtax and MOT.
I drove it from London to Cornwall then up to the Isle of Skye last month, no problems with it apart from the contact points breaking, a new set put on by the faithful AA man. Apart from that it was fine sitting at a steady 80mph on the motorways. Great fun to drive. |
