Nope

The other thing to try - if the alarm goes off for no reason - is to set the alarm with the key fob (remote) as usual and then press the same button again. If you do the second press with about 1 second, the doors are locked and the alarm on but the system doesn't seem to be triggered by noises.

Mine was going off whenever there was a noise - like me banging on the side of the car or using a mower on the grass. Even a lorry passing in the street would sometimes cause the alarm to go off.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Willy

I have had similar problems (10 year old Amazon), and have been told by my Toyota dealer that if metal is left around the centre console - e.g. a pile of coins - it can disrupt the frequencies and set off the immobiliser. I have taken my 'parking' money out of my ashtray, and it seems to be working. All the best, JC

No sadly did not work. Am resorting to locking car by turning key physically in lock; does not turn immobiliser on.

Hello all,
Have any of you had any joy with fixing this problem?

I am having to lock it with the key everyday so the alarm doesn't go off every night.

Bushbury - any joy mate?

Regards
Simon
