|
|
Hi, everybody.
I'm aiming to get my 02 Colorado Waxoyl'd, but I've since read about Dinitrol. Anyone know the difference between the two? Is one a superior product? It may come down to where I can get the coating professionally done, as I'm in North Wiltshire, M4 region.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers,
Chris. |

Never used either of these, but did a search on here for Dinitrol and it came up with 36 matches, DINITROL _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser

I use both
Waxoil in the cavities and Dinitrol on the outside, make sure you mask up well though |

I have used both products. Both good with pros & cons in each. I found that the Waxoyl products were relatively cheaper. IMHO it does not really matter what product you use (as long as use something); the main thing is to keep on top of rust formation, by keeping the under body free of salt by regular washes, doing regular inspections and keeping the rust proofing "topped up" (it is by no means a do once and forget task). Consider using good old red anti corrosive primer with black chassis paint & under body seal (to reduce stone chip damage) for parts like the fuel tank guard, sump guard etc. Also look at anti-corrosion products from Bilt Hamber. |

Our American cousins are very keen on the POR-15. Looks like a good product but there is a fairly strict preparation process.
I agree that the Bilt Hamber stuff is good, but so are the Buzzweld products. |
