Has this sudenly started  or have you perhaps just purchased the vehicle ? sounds like selector linkage adjustment &/or throttle cable / kickdown cable adjustment.

Hi,

It all worked perfectly, then played in the outback, have overheat the gearbox(the light came on but no issues) them while driving home I was losing GB oil and could see leaking betwin engine and GB block.
No shifting issues with the box so I took it to the mechanic, he advised that a rebuild. Will be ok as the oilpump has been affected and so on.
Now after rebuild the Issues:

When engaging takes >5 seconds and I have to accelerate in order to have engagement
There is no power when taking off and it won't engage the 5 speed not even when engine is hot and driving +80
When engine reaches the work temperature and taking off the Car vibrates for about 3-4 seconds.
While driving and the gear shifting is delayed and the car just jumped in the gear creating a scary feeling

This all after Gb rebuild, never had a issue before.

So Thad my story, I can't wait on Monday to see what he will have to say.
