Can the F2 1983 engine block and the F3 1989 head be used together to get one engine?   Bought the F2 motor and was told that the F3 head would be able to go on it to make it fuel injected.  Is there any way of doing this or was I given a story?  I realize that the lifter inspection plate is 4 inches tall on the F3 and it is 6.5 inches tall on the F2 engine.

I have a 1988 Toyota Landcruiser - died coming back from Knik Glacier - turned over just great.  Have changed coil and igniter and all electrical components in distributor and still have no spark.  Can I get any suggestions as to why I have no spark?  Is there something else that I can replace so I can continue to challenge my landcruiser through the beaver pond and wolf point.  Made it to glacier, crossed meadow creek twice and died and was lame to be towed home by a Ford Bronco - was grateful but still kinda bummed.
