Hey there from a newbie - got myself a 1983 BJ42 (3B Diesel), red with a white roof as a daily drive - I keep getting asked to sell it, but I'm holding on to this one! It's got a leaking diesel fuel pump, and I'm scouring e bay etc for one - would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction?? |

I thought you would do ok over in NZ. 3B engines are also in some 70 series land cruisers. Surly there must a be a few knocking around in Australia. Any pictures of your 40? |

Why would you want a buy another pump? You just take them to someone who knows what they are doing and have a seal and gasket kit put through it.
Buying used pumps is a recipe for disaster unless it has been bench tested and if it has been sitting around for awhile ,the gaskets may have dried up and it will start leaking like your old one.
Is your BJ42 a LX model with the 3 windscreen wipers and the forward facing rear seat? _________________ 1995 HZJ75 troop carrier
