Evening gents, I have a 98 colarado with the factory alarm, when I lock it with the fob then press the button again what does it do? I thought it dead locks the doors so you cannot open it from the inside ie if a window was smashed and you reached in but they dead lock on first press, press it a second time and the locks make a noise like its doing something else whats going on.

I have no problems with my alarm or central locking it works fine,I have had the car  for years but only just discovered this.

Lenny

I think it disables the internal sensors so you can leave a dog/wife/kid in the car whilst in the pub:)
