Hi All,

I've now got a 2021 150 SWB commercial, In the''User Guide' it tells one to read the 'mam owners manual', but I didn't get one from the previous owner. Do any other 150 owners possess this and does it-exist?

Also having difficulty in sourcing a set of side steps (problem in getting in and out at my age) but local Toyota agent is hopeless and others only offer sidesteps for earlier models, even suggesting that 2021 was a different body to 2018!

Pleased with the  car so far, only done about 600 miles so far, but the electronics are way over the top, my 2004 was much more practical but sadly very corroded underneath.

HI Dafydd, cant answer your question unfortunately, but congrats on the new 150!  Be interested to hear how you think it compares to your old 120!

Good luck with it!

You don't get a manual with new vehicles, it's all done online at the My Toyota App.

Don’t know if you got this sorted, but as mentioned above you can get them online as PDF’s. Recently bought a 2019 Invincible and whilst it did come with a basic user guide, putting the VIN in on the customer portal allows you to view or download the more detailed guides and the navigation guide. Interestingly the detailed guide for mine tells me to look at the off road driving guide for details on the MTS, diff locks etc but couldn’t access that on the UK site. Managed to get it from Toyota in Australia.

Thanks for replies, I will see if I can get what I need through those channels.

I looked up the owners manual on the Toyota site, but that did not give me overall detailed info like  I have on the manual on disc for my previous 2004  which seemed to describe/illustrate every nut& bolt, including where to cut out corroded sections and where to 'underseal'!

Thanks, Dafydd   WW

Hi Karl2000;

My vehicle is a  2021 GTD 155 (JN) commercial SWB van. Only done 800 so far, in 3 months driving, 6100 total, so a little too soon to form hard opinion of its abilities.

Dislike:- 1.   FAR too much unnecessary OTP electronics, which will go wrong.  2. No spare wheel.  3. rear door locks automatically after a few minutes driving but doesn't unlock when you stop & get out to unload so requiring need to go back to drivers position to unlock manually.  4.  need for 'Add Blue' questionable. 5. The grill/screen behind drivers seat is fully fixed & does not part-fold in like earlier model.  6. Feels bigger and bulkier than 120.

Not done any heavyweight towing yet, but performance othwise comparable. Doesn't seem any more frugal , but too early to be certain.

Just given the underside a good coating of Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 ( the soft brown expensive) anti corrosion fluid.

Will report  further when I have more experience , D.V.

Dafydd   WW.
