Hi All,

MUD, GLORIOUS MUD !!!  Laughing  Laughing

We have just come back from a mini-reccie of the plain and can confirm that it is a bit...errr.... moist to say the least. Laughing  Brilliant. Laughing

Aly and I will be heading for our favourite play area again on Sunday, 10th December and this time if anybody would like to come along in their Landcruiser, Pajero, LR or other 4x4, we would be more than happy to show them around. It will be a great oportunity to find our what your Landcruiser etc... can do. The route will be an easy one, suitable for first timers and experienced alike. Laughing

Meet 9.00 am at the Countess Services, A303 Amesbury
Please bring Sandwiches, coffee etc.. to munch on..or.. maybe
something to cook at lunch. Also, maybe a change of clothes or at
very least, a towel. We have all recovery gear and have a first aid kit onboard.
And of course, bring a Camera Laughing

Coming so far:-

Moses  LC   + 3 x passengers
Roy03  LC   + 1 x passenger
Roy03  Nephew LC + 3 x passengers
Brownie  Paj (POCuk)

The main header post has been updated. Wink

We went out today, this time to Moreton Forest, Nr Wareham, Dorset and
there is still a lot of Water about as we found out when we crossed the
River Frome at a ford near Moreton Village itself.  Laughing The water came up to nearly the top of the tyres so had to drive slow to prevent a large bow wave forming and water ingress via the air filter. It's the deepest I have seen this crossing for a long while. This was confirmed after we returned via two smaller fords Nr Throop/Turners Puddle. These where also brimming. Laughing

If this keeps up, Salisbury Plain will be more Fun than ever ..... Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Best Rgds
