Hi everyone
I have a problem with the TVSSIII alarm system fitted to our 1997 Land Cruiser Colorado 3.0 GX. The alarm goes off for 30 seconds when any door is unlocked and opened with the key. I no longer have a working/programmed remote fob to disarm it.
Can anyone advise me of the correct procedure for disarming the alarm before opening the drivers door please? This problem first arised after having one of the two 12v car batteries beginning to fail, which has now been replaced. It seems the alarm system has now been reactivated, so it is not a voltage problem as first thought causing erratic behavoiur.
Better still is there a dedicated alarm system fuse I can locate to pull out and totally switch off the system?. As the built in immobiliser is adeqate for our anti theft needs.
I would be very grateful if anyone can help, as much as all the neighbours will be too, as it is so loud!! |
