Hi all.  I had belt and water pump changed 4 years/35K miles ago on my 2010 LC5.  Water pump is now slowly leaking coolant - all very annoying.  I have booked into a good Japanese car specialist to do the pump (& belt) - at a cost of about £850 (Main dealer wanted £1400!).  But they have told me that their belt kit supplier will only warranty their product if the garage does an oil change!  I only have the car serviced a few months ago and just cannot see why they would do this.  the garage won't make much/any money of the £90 for the oil change, but they reiterated this is what they do.  I could understand this for timing chain issues, or wet belt systems, but not for a dry belt system.  Thoughts pls...

Sorry all - ignore this post. It was a misunderstanding and miscommunication from the garage.
