Hello Everyone,

I  have a LC KDJ 120. Absolutely love it. Its been a great vehicle. I recently installed a weaco fridge in the back for camping trips. However I could not use the 12v socket in the rear while the ignition was off so I had to come up with a solution.

I gave Freedom 4X4 a call and had a good chat to Trevor and described what I wanted.. To switch out  a starter battery for a leisure battery to have a permanent live feed to the 12v in the rear while using the other starter battery to start the engine.

Trevor soon got back to me with a list of solutions and the following week I had the work done. The work was top notch and I could not be happier!. I now have a battery indicator on my centre console which can also link the batteries incase the starter battery fails and keep a good eye on the battery levels. These guys really know what they are doing..

I wish that Freedom 4X4 would relocate to Chamonix France where I live so that I could get servicing and all my work done with them:) Next time I'm in the UK I will definitely get some more work done there.

Cheers!

Jim

Thanks for the feedback. I just checked their website and seems they do servicing/repairs to a most LC models. Servicing prices seem reasonable. Has anyone else used them? any feedback esp. on the service side?

I've been to them with my 2005 LC5. I've found them to be very professional and extremely thorough! After my experiences with the toyota dealerships, its nice to see a set of people who really care about the work they do, and the vehicles they look after!
