Wheels falling off its getting a little frustrating.

More than a little actually. Driving along a village road last night I heard a scraping noise and the 4x4 dipped to the left a little.

My first thought was "that feels like a wheel has fallen off"

When I got out and looked I discovered that my front off side wheel, brake caliper, hub, CV joint spring and shock had disappeared under the floor of the 4x4.

I wasn't actually that shocked as I was driving about 40Km/h  and the road was empty.

The reason that I wasn't that shocked is that a year ago the rear axle snapped and the rear off side wheel did the same. This time dragged behind on the brake pipe.

Now I am having both sides of the front suspension rebuilt.

Anyone else out there has a 2x2 that was a 4x4 ?
