Hi all,

I have just taken my new truck out for a spin and noticed that the volt meter drops when starting then stays in the middle regardless of revs?

I have checked battery voltage with meter when engine is running and they don't see to be getting any charging?

I also have a 95 hilux with two batteries so am used to seeing this meter move with revs.

I am still waiting for manual to arrive so just wondered if there is a quick circuit check I could do to make sure all is in order?

Also is there a main fuse in the charging circuit?

Before I bought the truck it had had a starter motor and shorting problem and the Stirling security device had to be taken out.

It now has a new starter motor and starts fine but I'm wondering if something had blown in the charging circuit?
