Forgot to plug in my 1991 Prado last night. Have been using #2 diesel. This morning it was -6 degrees and I got it to start, but it ran coughing for several minutes. I had to keep on the throttle to keep it alive. Tried turning the RPM up until it smoothed out, but it didn’t affect the coughing. It finally choked out and wouldn’t start again. I plugged it in for the day, it’s been plugged in for 10 hours and now 0 degrees celsius (32 degrees fahrenheit) and it won’t start at all now. I assume the diesel gelled up, but how do I get it started at this point? I don’t work Sunday, so hopefully it warms up and I can get it going. I also have two lights on the dash. The check engine light and a red exclamation mark in a red circle. I don’t know what the second one means.

The only Circle with exclamation mark Red Symbol, I can think of is for the Parking/Emergency/Hand Brake - usually means it is on/engaged?
