Hi everyone
New here and first post so apologies if incorrectly posted.
I've browsed the window related topics and can't find an answer so again sorry if I've missed it .
My Colorado (1998 3.0 D GX) windows are driving me mad . The drivers side front and rear work fine off the 4 way switch and their independent switches .
The passenger front doesn't work at all and the rear only goes down and not up so is stuck down .
I've tried swopping all switches with another landcruiser and same again (my switches all work fine in the other car so switches are all ok)
I've had a mechanic put power to the motors and they work off a separate power supply . He scratched his head and said must be a wiring issue maybe a broken earth somewhere (?)
I've tried the reset procedure with no joy .
Not sure what to do next . Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated .
Thank you
Iain

It's sure to be broken wires where the loom goes from door to body, although it is normally drivers side that is problem because it is used more.

Thank you Andy.
I will look at the wires and hopefully find the problem 👍

Can't find any broken wires from loom to body on either door unfortunately !
Does anyone on here know if there is a control module for the electric windows like an ecu or "brain" etc hidden in the car somewhere ?
Thanks for any advice given
Iain.
