Hi all

I'm new, but not exactly new.  Used to be on here a few years ago but lost touch because basically I have had very very little wrong with my beastie so haven't really needed any advice  Wink

Anyway, I now need you kind peoples input.  Very Happy

My lovely Landcruiser 90 (Colorado) is vibrating badly underneath.  Have had the garage replace the rear UJ which has not cured the problem or even lessened it at all.  I could get them to replace the front one but I'm concerned that it is one of the wide angle joints either side of the transfer box !! So here's the kicker.... Noone seems to sell these separate of the prop shafts !?  Any suggestions or what this horrible grinding vibrations could be before I start throwing good money after bad.

Thanks in advance, Rosie

Why did they replace the UJ?

Vibrations from anywhere on a motor can be difficult to pinpoint. If replacing a UJ did not stop it then the UJ probably didn't need replacing. Who said it was faulty?

I see you are in Oxfordshire. Frogs Island 4x4 are just south of Oxford. They used to specialise in Land Cruisers so a call to them may be beneficial.
